The GenBots SW-420 Vibration Sensor Module detects shock, mechanical vibration, and physical impacts using a gold-plated internal spring contact. Under stillness, the switch contacts remain closed; when vibration occurs, the internal spring vibrates open, triggering an immediate digital logic pulse via the onboard LM393 comparator.
